Maclay Student Residences Refurbishment

The Maclay Residencies refurbishment project was a modernisation of the Universitys student accommodation properties.
The project included the refurbishment of internal spaces (the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens), decoration, provision of new fitted kitchens with modern appliances to meet the needs of the student base.
The year 2025 was marked the final phase of the refurbishments, with works having been carried out over the previous 4 years to the remaining properties at the site. The final phase included properties within 17 Sandyford Place, 7, 2 and 4 Cooperage Place.
The refurbishment should extend the lifespan of the properties whilst providing students with affordable standard rooms that are comfortable, functional and of a high standard.
